It's certainly quicker to telephone than to write a post but it may not always be the best to communicate something. The right form of communication to use depends, like so many other things in life, on the circumstances. But now we have the appropiate circumstances for a nice choice to join us to think and work together, and this is specially true, in the next event that is happening here in Euskadi sooner thanks to Innobasque:the WOKA EUSKADI 2009,on 18th of May .
This event is ideal if you want immediate action, immediate participation in a colective project. It's the new way to work together,using the World Café method.So we have to take the chance to work together and simultaneously in different places about the subject we have to think about in this occassion:what is needed to solve the current recession, surmounting all the obstacles and getting ready for the new challenges we are facing up in today's world. It's also the obvious choice if we need a quick answer to a question like this. Many problems can be solved more easily and decisions can be taken more quickly if we can discuss them with someone, -right now, right there,- rather than wait for a reply to a letter,to a phone or an email.
The nice thing about this event is that you can get in touch with different people from your friends and family but with some other things in common, share your views, listen to anothers' ones,and so on,...That is why it can be so meaningful and rich for all of us. We have a chance to be involved by facts and questions at the same time and place, we can get more answers to the same questions, we can discuss them, we can agree or disagree and try to convince to another or to adopt another's point of view,..no one is right all the time, even experts. So, working together, we can accomplish more than on our own. To sum up, Woka Euskadi 2009 can be an excelent form of communication with more advantages than disadvantages.The important thing is recognise that this is an ocassion more appropiate than others to say what you want to say about the current situation.
